Ingredients

  • 3 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs about 8 thighs
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 garlic cloves pressed or microplaned
  • 3 Tbsp white wine
  • 1 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Place the chicken thighs into a large bowl. Then add the mayonnaise, fresh garlic, white wine, salt, and pepper.
  • Give it a good, thorough mix to incorporate all the ingredients well. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for a few hours or overnight for better flavor. If you don't have the time to marinate the chicken, you can grill it right away. It will still taste delicious!
  • If you have the time, let your chicken come to room temperature before grilling. This will ensure more even cooking, but it’s not absolutely crucial. Preheat your grill to 400-450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Clean and oil the grill grates and place the chicken on top. Cook for 4-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature of the chicken is 165 degrees Fahrenheit in the thickest part of the meat. Remove the chicken thighs from the grill and place them into a deep baking dish and cover to let the chicken rest for about 5-10 minutes before enjoying.
Steps to make Grilled Chicken Thighs: mix the chicken with mayonnaise, white wine, garlic, salt, and pepper, then marinate it before grilling it on both sides.
